Rwenzuru subjects prepares for the homecoming of their king

Preparations of receiving the OBR king, his majesty king Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma in his Rwenzururu kingdom continues to intensify everywhere in Rwenzururu kingdom as we count down hours to see his face after 7years in prison.

The OBR king has been out of his kingdom since 26th November 2016 when the government stormed Buhikira Royal palace from where over 150 people lost lives.

On this date, government arrested King Charles Irema-Ngoma with several royal guards and charged them with treason, terrorism, murder, aggravated robbery, malicious damage and attempted murder.

Until of recent on 13th June 2023government through the DDP withdrew all the charges slapped against them.

It’s upon all this background, tomorrow on 4th October 2023 the king will be coming back to his kingdom where his subjects are preparing and ready receive him majestically.

While talking to OBR cultural minister Mr. Erikana Baluku today morning at Buhikira royal hill where royal shrines are being constructed, he told journalists that royal shrines is where most activities of the kingdom are done.

Mr. Rabson Mupangwa the Kasese municipality deputy mayor revealed that as leaders they have done what it takes like cleanliness , security and others within the town to show the public how ready they are to receive the OBR king.

Meanwhile Mr. Eric Muhasa Mathu former LC3 chairperson for Mahango sub-county urged boda-boda riders to drive carefully tomorrow to avoid accidents.Ends
