His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma, the OBR King, has expressed his commitment to uniting Rwenzururu communities in their fight against poverty.
King Charles made this declaration during a thanksgiving service held at St. Paul's Cathedral Church of Uganda on Sunday in Kasese town, just four days after his return to the Rwenzururu kingdom.
He emphasized that while the government plays its part, the kingdom also has a role to play in tackling the pervasive issue of poverty within the communities.
Additionally, King Charles encouraged the subjects of the OBR kingdom to actively work towards improving their financial well-being through meaningful and productive ventures.
Bishop Nason Baluku of the South Rwenzori Diocese urged the Rwenzururu subjects to embrace God's teachings and follow His laws.
